Privacy policy
This site collects very little. What follows is what we ask for, why we hold it, who processes it on our behalf, and how to have it removed.

The contact form on this site asks for your name, company, email address, telephone number, the type of enquiry and your message. Company and telephone are optional; the rest are required so that we can reply. If you write or call us directly, we hold that correspondence and the contact details it contains.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts on this site. The site keeps two small values in your browser’s own storage — whether you have seen the opening animation and whether you have dismissed the storage notice. They identify nothing about you and never leave your device.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry and, where you have asked for one, to prepare a quotation or tender response.
- To schedule service, maintenance and installation work.
- To assess applications sent to us for employment.
- To keep the records a contractor is required to keep about work performed.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
How the form sends your message
Submitting the form sends your message as an email directly from this page, through EmailJS, an email delivery service. If direct sending is unavailable, the form instead opens a pre-filled message in your own email program for you to send. Nothing is stored on this website itself. Estimating, tender, service and residential enquiries are addressed to estimation@controliumsolution.com; everything else goes to info@controliumsolution.com. Your message then travels as ordinary email, which is not encrypted end to end — please do not send sensitive documents this way.
Service providers
- This site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Its servers record standard request logs, including IP address, time and user agent.
- The contact form is delivered through EmailJS, which processes the content of your message in order to send it to us.
- Typefaces are served from this website itself — opening a page makes no request to a fonts provider.
- Email we exchange with you is held by our email provider.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We use no others on this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful for follow-up. Records tied to work performed are kept for the period required by our professional, tax and warranty obligations. Applications for employment are kept for our own hiring consideration and destroyed on request.
Your rights
Under Québec and Canadian privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, and ask that it be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to our privacy officer and we will answer within the period the law allows.
